Completely unexpectedly, after a short and serious illness, at the age of 78, our managing partner and company founder
Mrs. Sigrid Schmitt
has passed away on September 15, 2025.
Together with her husband, she founded the company in 1979 and, for more than 45 years, led, shaped, and guided it with foresight, dedication, and great humanity.
We are deeply shocked and saddened by this sudden loss.
With heartfelt gratitude and profound respect, we have bid farewell at a memorial service on Thursday, October 2, 2025.
